Extend continues your clip before its first frame or after its last: the original plays untouched, and the new seconds pick up its scene, light, motion and sound across a half-second feathered seam. Use it to add a packshot or an end beat, or to lengthen a take to fit the cut.
Over about four seconds LTX may cut to a new angle, as here (feet, a wide shot of the runner, then the shoe); re-roll the seed or extend in shorter steps when the shot must stay continuous. Six seconds at 720p took under two minutes on one B200.
