Salt & Brass

A poster where every word is spelled exactly as written: art and typography in one image.

Posters, flyers and title cards fail on one wrong letter, so this method treats the copy as fixed and checks it. The model renders the art and the type together from the exact words, and every line is then proofread at full resolution. Salt & Brass is a festival poster for an invented jazz weekend, in a 1950s screen-print style.

To make your own, give the exact words (title, date, place, names) and describe the style. Wavemaker writes the layout and copy into the request, then shows you zoomed crops of every text block to confirm them. When a model can't hold the type, the words are set as a separate exact text layer instead. The download includes the prompt, a rejected sample and the request receipts.
