A delivered English voiceover read re-voiced in a second voice with self-hosted Chatterbox: same words, same timing, a different timbre.
Voice conversion keeps a performance and changes who seems to give it: the words, pauses and pacing of the source stay, and the timbre comes from a short clip of the target voice. It suits re-voicing a scratch read in the cast voice, or keeping a director's timing in another voice.
