The Daisy Wrap, On Model

A patterned dress from a flat-lay photo, worn by a model from a studio plate, with her face, pose and framing unchanged.

A fashion brand usually has two things: a flat-lay of the new piece and photos of its models. The on-model graph puts the two together. Here a cobalt wrap dress with large white daisies goes onto a studio model who was wearing a white tee and grey trousers. Her face, curls, pose, sneakers and the beige backdrop stay as they were, and the dress keeps its print, colours, neckline and tie belt.

To make your own, upload a full-length model photo and your garment shot, and describe the garment's cut and details. Fitted versus flared shapes can shift, so compare the result with the flat. From the dressed photo, Wavemaker can make lookbook panels with the editors it already runs: a garment flat, a smile and a neutral alternate. The download includes the plate, the flat-lay and the result.
